A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. Marion County Recent Arrests does not store or log those query terms on its own systems.
Email and Contact Messages
Email and contact messages may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the conversation. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data and Cookies
Ordinary server logs and measurement tools may collect these details when a page loads:
- Internet Protocol address;

- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring page, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.

Links lead to jail rosters, arrest reports, sheriff and corrections pages, court portals, and outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy governs its collection and use of data.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That tracking occurs on partner systems, not systems controlled by this site.

We do not sell personal information. Data may still be processed by:
- search partners receiving submitted queries;

- law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
